By Sunday Apah
The Ijaw Mandate Group has lauded the appointment of it’s National Coordinator, Hon. Dagidi Andaye as member of the Osun State PDP Gubernatorial National Campaign Council for the Saturday, July 16, 2022 governorship election in the state.
It could be recalled that Hon. Dagidi was appointed alongside 149 others by the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party and they are expected to avail themselves for inauguration on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the party’s secretariat, Wadata Plaza, FCT, Abuja.
Reacting to the appointment by the Ijaw Mandate Group through a statement signed on its behalf by Famous Ofrobiri,
IMG stated that the PDP couldn’t have made a better choice because Dagidi is an outstanding and dedicated party man who has consistently worked for the success of the PDP in Delta State and beyond.
According to the statement “Dagidi is eminently qualified for this important assignment, especially at these critical times when the country is desperately looking for change from the present state of despair in the land.”
The Ijaw strong group explained that “because of Dagidi’s impressive track record, we have no doubt in our mind that he has what it takes to be in the committee to re-energize, rejuvenate, reposition and re-engineer the PDP to victory in Osun state”
IMG called on all PDP leaders and members to put personal differences aside and cooperate with members of the committee in the successful implementation of this important task.
“We should be solidly united in this task by throwing our weight behind Dagidi and other members of the committee in the effort to retake Osun State and return it to the path of greater development”, it added.
